PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR TO CHIAPAS

Friday February 19 – Tuesday February 23, 2010

Friday February 19: Depart Merida on ADO bus to Palenque. Check into Hotel Plaza Palenque for two nights. This evening we’ll have dinner together at the hotel, followed by a photography seminar.

Saturday February 20: Sightseeing at the archaeological site of Palenque in the morning. Following a picnic lunch, participants will have free time for individual photography at the site and surrounding area. Dinner with our group at the hotel and photograph sharing will be the evening activity.  

Sunday February 21: Leave for Yaxilan. We will spend the day travelling, visiting the site and photographing. The night will be spent in a rustic camp. No private rooms are available. Meals are included.

Monday February 22: Travel to Bonampak. We will spend the day travelling, visiting the site and taking pictures. We will return to spend the night in Palenque. A seminar and meal together will be our final activity.

Tuesday February 23: We will return to Merida on the ADO bus at 8:00 am.

Your Tour Includes:

·        Four nights accommodation

·        Transportation by scheduled ADO bus, to and from Merida

·        Entrance tickets to all specified attractions on the itinerary

·        All local transportation & guide services in Chiapas

·        Tips and gratuities for bell boys & waiters, driver, and guide

·        Meals: Breakfast at the hotel every morning. Additional group meals, as specified in the itinerary

Not included in Tour price:

·        Personal Expenses, phone calls, laundry, meals etc. unless specified in the itinerary

·         Personal Accidental Medical Coverage

It is not necessary to be a experienced photographer to participate in this excursion. However, flexibility is required by all as the terrain, accommodations and transportation are sometimes rugged. Carlos Rosado, an experienced photographer and traveller will be the group escort

It is possible to combine this tour with the trip to the mountains of Chiapas . Let us know as soon as possible if you’d like this option

A pre-departure seminar will be held at TTT,  at 3 pm on Monday January 18, 2010.
